The Vertex Standard VX-261 two way radio is part of the new VX 260 range of Vertex portable two way radios. This pre-programmed radio offers the ideal combination of features and performance for efficiency, reliability and inter-operability.The VX-261 has 16 channels, 1 group and two programmable keys for a customised experience. It has a 700mH internal speaker for an enhanced audio output so all your conversations are heard loudly and with clarity. When used with a VOX accessory, the VX-261's internal VOX comes into play. As with all radios in the VX-260 series, interoperatibilty is a standard, not an option. The VX-261 boasts an abundance of signalling options such as MCD1200, FleetSyn, DTMF, 2-tone and 5-tone capabilities to provide the seemless integration of this headset into your fleet.Safety is also a feature of the VX-261. Emergency alert can be programmed to instantly notify help with the press of a button to make sure the user is kept safe. Lone Worker is a built-in timer that requires the user to reset at a pre-determined interval. If not reset emergency alert is automatically triggered to alert help. This two way radio is also waterproof, with an IP rating of 55.
